Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of shopciv.com, the pop-up stores hosted on it, our order forms and software, and any order you place with CIV Enterprises (“CIV”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or placing an order you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. What we do

We make custom apparel, signs and graphics, vehicle wraps, trophies and awards, and promotional products, and we run temporary online “pop-up” stores for schools, teams, churches, companies, and nonprofits. Everything we sell is produced to order for the buyer.

3. Orders are custom, and sales are final

• Every item is produced specifically for your order, so all sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom goods.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit — sizes, colors, quantities, spelling, names, numbers, and artwork. We produce what was submitted and approved.
• Where we provide a proof or an approval step, your approval is what we produce from.
• A pop-up store closes on the date shown on that store. Orders cannot be added after it closes.
• If an item arrives defective or we made the mistake, tell us within 10 days of receipt and we will repair, remake, or refund it at our option.

4. Pricing, payment, and taxes

Prices are shown at checkout or in the quote we send you. Card payments are processed by Square on Square-hosted pages; we never see or store your full card number. Pennsylvania sales tax is applied where it is owed. If you are tax-exempt, send us your exemption certificate before ordering. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and material or supplier price changes may require a re-quote.

5. Production time and rush orders

Turnaround estimates begin when artwork is approved and payment or a purchase commitment is in place. They are estimates, not guarantees: supplier stock, shipping, weather, and equipment can move a date. Rush work may carry a surcharge, which we will tell you about before we start. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, suppliers, or events outside our control.

6. Artwork, logos, and intellectual property

• By sending us artwork, a logo, a name, or a mark, you confirm you have the right to use it and to have it reproduced on the goods you ordered.
• You agree to cover us against claims arising from artwork you supplied — including trademark and copyright claims.
• We may decline any job we believe infringes someone's rights or that we find offensive.
• We may show finished work in our portfolio, gallery, and social media. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.
• Site content, our own designs, and our software remain ours.

7. Delivery and pickup

Orders are delivered as described on the store or in your quote — shipped, delivered to a group organizer, or held for pickup at our shop at 215 Washington Rd, Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Risk of loss passes when an order is handed to the carrier or picked up. Please inspect your order promptly.

8. Cancellations and changes

Ask as early as possible. Before production starts we can usually change or cancel an order. Once materials are ordered, artwork is digitized, or production has begun, you are responsible for the costs already incurred. Blank goods ordered specifically for your job may not be returnable to the supplier.

9. Use of our site and software

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use shopciv.com, our order forms, and any CIV application made available to you, for their intended purpose: requesting quotes, placing and managing orders, and running a store we set up for you. You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from our software, except where the law says you may.
• Access accounts, stores, orders, or admin areas you were not given access to, or attempt to defeat any authentication.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-collect the site, or interfere with its operation.
• Resell or sublicense access to our software, or use it to build a competing service.

Software is provided as-is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, and we may suspend access that breaks these terms.

10. Third-party services

We use third-party services to run the business — including Square for payments and Intuit QuickBooks Online for accounting. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their services. Our connection to Intuit QuickBooks Online is between CIV and Intuit for CIV's own books; it does not connect your accounting software to ours, and it does not grant you or us access to each other's QuickBooks data.

11. Disclaimers and limits

Except as stated in section 3, the site, our software, and our goods and services are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Colors on a screen are an approximation and may differ from printed, embroidered, or dyed results, and garment colors can vary between production runs.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order the claim relates to, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or the cost of a missed event.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes belong to the state or federal courts serving Berks County, Pennsylvania.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its effective date. The terms in force when you placed an order govern that order.
